Gravel question

What's the best or easiest way to keep it clean?

Get yourself a gravel vacuum (also called gravel siphons). These things: http://www.shopping.com/Lees-Pet-Pro...Inch/info?sb=1. You use them to turn the gravel, and, as they do, suck up the crud that comes out of it. :)

Of course, if you have an unfiltered, uncycled tank, you'll want to rinse the gravel thoroughly in the sink every time you do a 100% change anyway.
