Updates!!! =D

Hey guys! Been awhile since I posted anything o_o been busy!!! I've got some updated photos of our new guy, Milton, and a few of Sully =) I'll post pictures of Daisy after her water change tonight =D

Milton: Milton has settled into our house nicely. He's enjoying the clean water, and he really likes having a territory of his own. He "defends" it from any intruders (people walking buy, inanimate objects, etc.) He has grown quite a bit even though he's only been here for a few weeks!!! His fins are filling out to the point where he is nearly a halfmoon, I expect he'll probably reach a full 180 degree spread in a few more weeks =)

I know this one is super blurry, but it shows off his finnage. Look at that spread!


Sullivan: Sullivan has been having a hard time of it lately. His fins are so big, and his body so small, that he has a hard time getting around. He tires out quickly, and he spends most of his time resting near the surface of his tank. Poor guy, I almost wish he would discover tail-biting, as crazy as that sounds. I hate seeing him miserable. But he gets along well enough, he builds a small bubblenest everytime I change his water, and he flares at his reflection on the tank walls for several minutes each morning. He's as gorgeous as ever, I love him to bits <3

His fins are so heavy, that he sinks everytime he tries to sit still without anything supporting him =/

Stupid flash!!!! He's beautiful though <3


I'll take photos of Daisy tonight after I change her water tonight =) She's been doing great!!!

Okay.. I'm so jealous. They're so pretty!

Now.. Where did you get your rocks? I was told I can't just use gravel for my ADF's because they'll eat the little rocks.. Those look like a good size.

Jrf456: Those rocks are from Petsmart, they come in a 5lb bag. They're great, they're a nice natural color and they make the plants and the fish stand out I think =) They're about the size of a quarter for the most part, you could always pick out any smaller ones that sneak in.

Since I just changed Daisy's water a few hours ago, here are some pictures of her! She has been doing sooooo well, and she's grown so much since I brought her home. She's the biggest of all my current bettas. She's super healthy and active, and she even was a little eggy a few weeks ago =)
