courtship: feeding

Well i'm attempting again with my giant PK siblings, She's been in there 24hrs and is this time at least not completely terrified. She will come out of hiding from time to time but idk if it's just because i'm there. Planning on leaving her in for at least 3 days this attempt, but i'm wondering, should i feed my parents during this time? They are huge eaters, and i'm thinking they're looking for food every time i check in on them.

They can go without eating for 2-3 days.

Some people feed and some don't, various reasons on both sides.
Personally I don't feed the parents most of the time(I have though, with no ill effects to the spawn).

I've done both, it doesn't seem to hurt the fry either way, at least in my experience.

As posted its up to the breeder....personally, I like to feed the pair if they are kept together longer than 24h.....but I usually will be feeding live foods-either mosquito larva or daphnia and my homemade food...I like to feed them in the same location so it forces the female out if she happens to be a shy girl-so they have to feed together...but I also use a natural method to spawn and feed well before, during and after...since sometimes I may keep the female or 2 females with the male long term for multi spawns that I may or may not harvest the nest/eggs to artificial hatch...its based on what I am trying to get or goals-experiment...etc......
