New Betta Boy!!!

Okay so I had no intention of getting a Betta until I saw this beautiful boy at my LFS. He was in the tiniest little cup I have ever seen. Now he is sleeping happily in a 40 gallon breeder with lots of live plants and a school of 24k gold white cloud mountain minnows. He is a half moon dragon scale but does anyone know why he has a pink nose? It's like he has no scales on his nose. He was still in his cup in the picture so I don't know if you can see. I will try to get some better ones tomorrow. Thanks!

He is awesome! The DragonScale is really nice. About his snout, he just isn't full dragon. If you thought about breeding him you take a female, also dragon scale and as much as possible like him and by the 2nd or 3rd generation you should get full mask dragon-scale. Either way his is a super looking fish. Congrats!

Thank you! I am not planning to breed him at this time. He is just the center piece of my living room tank right now. Here is a picture of him in his new home!
