Would IAL kill beneficial bacteria in your aquarium?

Nope. It's just a leaf. :) I use it in all my tanks and it has no effect on the bacteria.

Oh ok.
I thought it'd kill the beneficial bacteria's as it has anti bacterial and anti fungal properties.

The anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties are only for malignant strains. It would be a little silly if beneficial bacteria didn't evolve in accommodation to tannic acids.
