Wanted: 2.5 gal tank hood and shrimp

I have a 2.5gal rectangular tank that I badly wish to upgrade Emmy to, but I can't find anything with a light and I don't want to go without one.

I don't have a lot of money right now so if you are in a rush to get rid of one, I am not your buyer, but if you're willing to wait a few weeks til I get a little money I can do that.

Shrimp: I'd like larger ghost shrimp (just full-grown is all I mean), cherry shrimp or something similar in size. Just a couple. Having trouble with pet store shrimp and wondering if I'd have better luck with someone here who takes optimal care of them.

I have a Perfecto light strip for a 2.5 gallon that ended up not using with my tank. It needs to be used with a glass top or acrylic top which I didn't realize when I bought it. I only put it on top of my tank to see how it would work so never used actually. It's a little long for a 2.5 gallon but not too much. I paid about $13 for it and would be willing to sell it for less.

Are you willing to wait? In a few weeks (maybe a month? Paychecks are small and far-between sadly...it takes a while for me to save up even that much...yay college...) I would be able to get you $10, or the full $13 in compensation for waiting if that is what you prefer. I can find a top for it. Also do you have a couple pics you could post, perhaps with a ruler or pencil or something for size comparison?

I'll have to figure out what shipping will be to give you a proper amount but ten is more than fair. Depending on what shipping is it might be even less. I really don't need the full amount. I understand the college thing. I just graduated an still haven't found a job :(. I can certainly hold onto it for a month. It's not like it's taking up that much space.

I'll try to take some pictures tomorrow and then figure out how to post them.

Also: its a really long shot but you never know...where do you live? I'm in New York...for all we know we live mere miles away haha. I kinda doubt it, but it's worth asking.
