I'm in Brisbane, so I know how you feel! But that water is 95F, so I'd act quickly. :s
When it's hot, I take the top off my tank, lower the water a bit so that there's not risk of my boy jumping out, and then direct a pedestal fan straight into the tank. I also turn the filter up so get the surface moving a bit.
In drastic cases like yours, I fill a ziplock bag with ice cubes, and float it in my tank. (Next to the filter, so the coolness spreads evenly.) Replace the ice once it's melted if the temperature is still too high. Good luck!
