Hey all,
Figured I should post in here first, I just found this forum and have been reading through things for the past couple of days....
I've owned bettas previously, not for a few years now though, but at the start of this week I just bought myself a halfmoon male
to be honest, I've only just started seeing anything beyond the stock standard random coloured veiltails in the past few weeks in any of my local aquarium stores, so I'm trying to read up on all the various colour patterns and whatnot that I've missed out on
as apparently my boy is a lavender salamander, I'd never heard of it before but he's gorgeous at any rate ^_^ I'll post a photo in the pictures forum, not the greatest pics but I had to take them on my mobile.
I'm thinking of getting into breeding, but yeah, reading up on everything I can find first. I do have my eye on a total black delta male at the store I got my halfmoon boy from already though
