Buddha :)

I just got Buddha yesterday because I felt like I needed something in my dorm to keep me from getting too stressful.

And so I got my own fish, and then Buddha happened.

Where did his name come from?
Well, we went to the pets store and they had a few of the decorations there. I was with my friend and she told me "we should get this for the tank. A little Buddha." And then we both went "BUDDHA! That's a great name!"

So yea, he is purple (in the sun)/blue tinge and red little parts and an almost black head :)

My first ever betta <3

Nice male! Just the head up, it look like there are too much pellets floating around. You don't want make the water too dirty. Also try not to overfeed him too. I would only feed them 3 pellets twice a day. Just a little of advice :)

Yea, I ended up removing all of his pellets because I realized just how many there were. :)

But, thank you very much ^^

Ah, what a cutie.
Buddha is such a perfect name. Even though once their personalities come out, most betta are anything but peaceful little Buddhas. xD

Well, I'm hoping that he stays sweet xD
He seems to be very spooked still, but I managed to clean half the tank today without him really freaking out too much. He eventually went over to my hand and investigated it before swimming back into his corner.
