Got some Epsom salt and added for her, she's still acting fine even better then the other two. She eats like a pig and isn't skittish with me. Now to play the waiting game

If she doesn't improve after a day, you can bump her dosage up to 2 tsps per gallon. It can take a few days. She may just be constipated. Give her some time. :)

Well the pine coneing is gone now but she's still a little bloated. About how many days should I continue with Epsom salt?

Continue for another five days at least even though she might look better. I'm glad to hear the pineconing went down, that's good news. :)

Does the poop look normal? No whiteish strings that could be internal parasites?

Are you sure she's not just eggy? It can be really hard to tell the difference between eggy and bloated with females.

I think she may be a little to young for that. If she was just eggy why would the swelling go down for 4 days then come back tonight. She wasn't as large this morning pretty sure she wasn't . At least I haven't seen any sign of more pineconing

Good point. Once they're eggy, they're eggy until they drop the eggs.

Since she was a Wal-Mart betta, she could have a mild internal infection. Epsom salt could help with that but since the bloating is returning, it's not being very effective right now. Go ahead and keep her in the epsom salts at her current dosage but let's see about treating the infection. Do you think you can find Jungle Labs Anti-Parasite medicated pellets? Petsmart sometimes sells them. The medication in the Anti-Parasite pellets is effective for internal bacterial infections as well. The trick is getting her to eat them, because they don't taste very good. You can soak them in garlic juice for a few minutes so they get good and garlicky, that might help. You may also need to crush them into smaller pieces.
