Betta tattoo

So in a couple weeks I'll be covering up a "I'm 15 and I want a tattoo" mistake with a picture of one of my boys. I'm leaving it up to my artist which photo to use but thought I'd see what you guys thought.

They will hand draw based on these pictures so don't choose one over the other because one is clearer than the other. They will be able to sketch in a face.

The image can only be 3inch square. I just submitted these photos to the artist so he might not be able to use either so if that's the case I'll put up a couple more photos that might be possibilities.

Why not combine them, get the CT body and the HM's colors? CT would look soo cool as a tattoo. I plan on getting one done on my ribcage :)

I sort of wish the first boy's body wasn't so foreshortened, though I love the image. It would be cool to get a bit more of a side view, but I love the view of his fins and they would be lovely if colored in nicely.

The second one would be quite good as well. I don't think you'll go wrong either way.

The reason I chose the first photo is because the tattoo I'm trying to cover up is an "S" shape so I'm trying to fit it over that. When I get a chance I'll take a picture of the one I'm trying to cover up. Thank you for the inputs so far!

That makes sense then. I wonder if he could draw it and edit it so it's even more in an S shape, having his head turn the other way.

Tattoo is done got it yesterday. This is on my ankle and is a cover-up and you can't even tell. :) My artist did this all free-hand.

Cool. I know a girl that got a huge one in her arm of two bettas intertwined with peacock feathers. it was really pretty
