My new guy, Morris

So I found him at Walmart and loved his colors. I took this pic when I first got him. He's living in a 1.5 gallon bowl with heater, a plant and a hiding place until I get him a bigger tank soon. At first I thought his fins were what you all call "clamped" but they're still thin like that if not a little more relaxed. Is something wrong with his fins?

I think he just has thin fins! If they were clamped, they would be flat against his body when he isn't moving. His look pretty well flared out, just severely tapered at the ends. Doesn't look like anything wrong. Beautiful boy!

I don't think he is...as long as he's active and eating and perhaps flaring here and there, he sounds like a healthy guy =)
