New Here n_n

Hey there! My name is Kelly and I'm new to fish but definitely not new to keeping animals I currently am a member of my local livestock club, a member of the American Rabbit Breeders Associacion, and breed pedigreed and show quality mini rex rabbits on a small scale (I have seven at the moment). I love my bunnies, they're my babies
As I said though, I'm new to fish. I've had bettas as a child but it was the little bowl routine, which as far as I knew was how you're supposed to keep them. Yesterday I bought a lovely betta and a small bowl on impulse (I know, I should know better). I got home and started researching. Uh oh Some things need to change. I LOVE watching Elmo so in the next couple days I'll be purchasing a 10gal and dividing it into three. Is that alright? It'll have a heater along with some lovely aquatic plants.

That sounds great!!! Def. will be an improvement from the Walmart cup and the tiny bowl he is in now... just remember, while you are setting everything up for him, keep up his water changes and keep an eye on him for any ailments

Thanks (: I got him on Saturday and did a 50% water change a few minutes ago. I can't wait to get my new tank so I can quit bothering him so often, haha.
