So out of the blue my boy Takeshi seemed to having swim bladder problems. There's been no changes with him or his food other than the fact that I removed the divider in his 10 gal. [his old tank mate now has a 10 gal of his own too! :D] so now he has the whole tank.
The SBD started a little over a week ago. I moved him into a bare bottom 1.5 gallon tank and I've been doing daily water changed and adding 1 tsp of epsom salt. He's only pooped twice in the week his been in the hospital tank. I've been fasting him as well, but I did feed him two pellets on one of his better days. There's been maybe 3 random days apart from each other that he's been perfectly fine and looked like he was improving, and the next day he's floating again. Today he looked to be the worse he's been yet. He was floating on his side, really struggling to swim down, and quite bloated.
Does anyone have any advice to help him get well? I get so worried that he's going to get really critical and pass away or something. Thanks.
