New Sorority

I had ten cambodian VT and CT female bettas delivered to my place this afternoon, only about 15 minutes after I'd totally re-planted the tank they were going into.

I'm pretty sure half of these are of the same female, but the others are still getting used to their new home. They're in a 45 gallon tank with two other females and I'm working on getting it fully planted up.

They are sooooo friggin cute!!! Aw, I envy all of you who have females. There are NO LPS or LFS stores that have them here and I asked if it was possible to order some through them and they told me no because they aren't good sellers around here. Drat!

Anyway, good luck with your new sorority!!!

Took a couple more shots. My CTs were too busy beating each other up to be bothered coming over for a photo.

This is a full-tank shot. As you can see it needs a few more plants and some time to fill in. Not the prettiest tank, but I only had a small window in which to get it ready.

I think it's an awesome tank? :D

That one blue-ish girl is an interesting colour. And the ones in pics 1& 2 in the previous post (red-tipped tail) seems very bright-eyed and curious.

Are they likely to stop quarrelling after a while?

Yeah they are a curious bunch. Didn't take the three circling my finger long to realise I am the pellet dispensary.

Once they sort out who is who and the plants fill in more (they have been chasing each other back and forth across the front so I need more plants there to block them), they should ease back on the fighting.

Sororities are pretty volatile at times. The big blue female in the FTS was pulled from my main sorority as she was bickering with the male and another female in there too much. Her arch nemisis is in the white net re-growing her poor tail.
