Snow = heat problem.

Alright, it's snowing pretty hard here. Flanery is in a large heated tank and the others still aren't quite heated yet, so would it be best if I push all the others against Flanery's tank so they can get some of the heat? I have a 4 watt zoo med heating pad and it gets toasty, would that work too?

I use a heating pad on my smaller tanks, our heater just cant keep up when it gets cold cold. I have to keep an eye on the temp though so i get up through out the night and check it. i also keep the tanks in one room where i can put a portable heater in there to keep the room warm.

Watch the temps on the heat pad, as they can fluctuate greatly, and quickly when you turn it on and off- which can cause shock and death.
Wrap towels around the tanks at night to keep the warmth in.. pushing them together won't transfer the heat to warm up any others.
But try the heating pad, put it on the lowest setting and a towel between it and the tanks at first to see if it will raise it slow enough and not get too warm.
