New guy!!!

So I got my new buddy today!!! He is a white dragon scale I think. And my sister came with me to pick him out and she fell in love with this orange crowntail and so she is finally hooked to the betta keeping!!! I got him for her for her birthday!!!

I have to take both of them with me tomorrow to college. In the meantime they are in those awful little cups. Any advice on what to do with them right now until they are put into their beautiful homes. Should I do some kind of water change in the little cups?

What I would do is set some water out to room temp and then empty out part of their water and add new. Just to clean it out a little. And then keep them as warm as you can.

How long you will keep him in that cup? I would change the water every day until you put him in his new home.

Tends on how long you are going to keep them in the cup. If it is only going to be for a couple of hours I wouldn't worry about a water change. I transport mine from home to college and I normally just let them sit in my passenger seat with the seat belt around them. I have noticed that mine do better if they can see the environment around them than rather them put in a box or something.
