Talking My new (and first) Betta - Haiku

This is Haiku, I picked him up today. He is a very active boy, swimming around and exploring his tank.

The heater I have doesn't seem to be getting high enough, it is staying at 72 for the last couple hours. If it doesn't change by tomorrow I will go buy the size up.

Here he is - click the images to see full size -

Also, can anyone help with my avatar. They are the right size but it keeps seeing there is an error, a failure.

Thank you! Yes he is a looker, I was so shocked to find him in the store, he flared at me and was so pretty he had to come home with me. He hasn't stopped moving since he got released into the tank, he is swimming around inspecting everything. Flaring at my cat, me, everything that comes to close to what he know thinks is HIS tank. He hasn't eaten yet, but he is to busy and I read that they sometimes don't eat for a couple days when in a new home.

Haha, yes, it really cute when they first go into large tanks. Some of them are just like "omg... what is this... I can move!? WEEEE!"
He looks very healthy, so he should be eating within a few days. I don't know, mine always eat the moment they come home :p

Now that you mention it, he does look like a mini American flag 0-0
