So for the past week ive been treating my lik male crowntail blazer for his constipation and boyancy problem but now im realized something serious

Ok so i had just made my lil guy flare so he can push his poop out and when he opened his gills to flare the inside part of his head that the gill was covering loooked BLOODY it was alll red on both sides. WHAT DO I DO!?!!?!!?!is this parasital hole in th head some burns or what!??!??!

He lives in1.75 gallon heater and normally he has 100% water changes on sata and 50% on tues and weds to keep his fins regrowig from fin rot over a month ago. I add stress coat to all his water. Normally feed him 2 pellets per meal 2 meals aday and theyre omega one boufet pellets

Please help me with what this is. It's just when he opens hus gills to flare and u look at the part his gills covered when he wasnt flarin his flesh is like all red and likes like he's bleeding. Is this till parasite hole in h head or what?

PLEASE REPLY WITH DIAGONOSE AND HOW TO TREAT HIM

Generally the gills should look red-this means he has good circulation and oxygenated blood flow.....what are you treating him with now.....how is he acting and eating....can you post some pics....

I agree with OFL, So far, this sounds normal. Every betta has this. :)

LOOL yah i over reacted,it's juts somehow i've never noticed it before and it's kinda ish spreading so i've now noticed.

as for his SBD and boyancy problem i'm treating him with epsom salt 2tsp/gal with 100% daily water changes daily for up to 10 days. this is around day 5 (i'll go check, i have it written and recorded on a piece of paper so i know not to go over the 10th day)

as for now he's still constipated =( only pooped a big piece 1st day after salt treatment within 10 hours then i fed him 1 pellet and he hasnt digested that since.
