Growout tanks

Is it safe to use those giant coat boxes? those ones made of white plastic, used to store clothes or something. I keep snakes in them and never got a problem with it being toxic to them. So i was wondering if i could use them for raising fry(of course cleaned, or brand new).

Like storage tubs? Sure! I have my guppies in some and I'll be putting some big ones outdoors for growing out my spawns.

In my defense, I ran out of room for big honkin' glass tanks. =D

Ooooh yes. I spent a good 20 minutes cleaning the crap out of them.

…Well not literally the crap out of them. They weren't full of crap, I just cleaned them well. O_o
