Split air pump question.

I just recently replaced my filter (it was getting old and it was only really doing good for one side of my divided tank) with the recommendation of an air pump (Whisper 20) attached to corner sponge filters and the tubing is split so that both Vlad and Tristan get the filtering. It works great! ...However...

Vlad's side seems to be a bit stronger than Tristan's, and I was wondering if anyone knew how to even the two out?

YAY for sponge filters!!!
Use a gang valve intead of the tube splitter:http://www.drsfostersmith.com/produc...m?pcatid=19780

You will be able to adjust the air flow and make it even between the two tanks, that's what I do :D You can find them at Petco & Petsmart.

They're both in the same tank and share the pump; is the above response still valid? :] Because if so, I'm down with it.

If you're using 2 sponge filters, one for each section, then YES!
The valve will also allow you to release air in case splitting it 1/2 and 1/2 is too strong for your fish.
