Female - Super DeT or HM?

I rescued this platinum red wash butterfly from Walmart yesterday. She has 4 obvious points, but at the very tips they split again. So, on all of her rays she has 8 points. But, when she flares she doesn't meet a 180 degree spread. Does this mean that she's a super delta, or is she still considered a halfmoon?

Here's the pictures. I'll try and get one of all of her points. I had one, but I accidentally deleted it. I was SO mad. >.<

Sorry that the pictures are so blurry ...

She would then be considered a Super DeT, she can have HM blood but if she doesn't get up to the 180 degree spread (which would be unusual anyway), she wouldn't be considered a HM. Also...you bought her yesterday and immediately added her to your sorority tank?

Yup, if the fish doesn't reach 180 degrees it isn't a halfmoon. Love the fish though.

I would definitely start quarantining.

It was because I saw that the medication was working. Plus, that would be her QT treatment right off the bat anyway. I had her floating in a separate cup, but my boyfriend went ahead and dumped her in. Yes, I was bad by buying a new female, but she was going to stay into the cup (with clean, fresh water daily) until the girls were better. It was going to act like the "see but no touch" greeting part of adding to a sorority. Like I said, my boyfriend dumped her in and that was it. I wasn't going to have a fight over a fish.

You might be able to train her up to reach 180

How do I train her? Shes already flaring at the plates. Shes aggressive, but she doesn't attack anyone. Shes all flare and no bite. lol
