He's feisty. I'm floating my halfmoon in salt treatment for popeye and Ysbryd is aggressively trying to defend his territory even though he's half the size!

I think he has a great dorsal and anal fin, but one of the rays on his tail has only a single point while the rest are doubled. We'll see if that corrects itself with good food and warm water.

My poor little baby has ich. I spotted about four cysts on him, so I've floated him with AQ salt and bumped up the temperature. I can't treat the whole tank because I have shrimp. His neighbor also has a little popeye on one side, he's on his third day of salt, and doesn't show any cysts.

Good thoughts for my boys?

Thankies Little Ysbryd seems to have dropped a couple of cysts, but I think I see at least two, one on a pectoral and one on his body. I'll keep tossing the treatment water and refreshing his AQ treatment for the recommended time. I'll need some epsom for my halfmoon, his swollen eye isn't going down. One more day of salt, then fresh water for a couple days, then epsom for the swelling. They are both eating like pigs and don't seem stressed.

Ysbryd does look much healthier than when I got him, he's fanning his fins much more, though he is still a bit shy if I make sudden moves.
