best way to take pictures

I have the hardest time getting a decent shot of my betta. What setting do you use?

Haha. I was going to say the best way to take pics is to try and have Copperarabian do it. XD

All of my photos have been taking (so far) with my iPhone 4S which i think does a decent job. I want to brake out my DSLR and see how that goes.

Use the macro setting, ISO on 100 and lighting for your appropriate situation (ie, fluorescent, tungsten, daylight). But definitely the macro setting.

Macro setting is definitely a must, and if you can focus it really close onto your hand and keep the button half pressed then go and take the photo. This way you won't have your camera trying to focus all over the place as you loose awesome shots.

Wow that's awesome, I really want to get myself a macro lens. I just focus as close as possible and crop the images, once I have a macro lens I'm going to have a blast :D
