Hello everyone! My name is Sydney, I live in Northern Ontario. I am an animal lover, have been since a little child.
At the moment I own three pets (though I also live with my mothers dog and sisters cat). I own the canine love of my life Cody, a three year old Black Lab/Shepherd possibly Doberman mutt. He is my best friend and such a good boy, my heart dog for sure. I have a 4 year old Domestic Shorthair Black cat named Yoru, or Ru for sure. He is quite the gentle soul, I don't think he relises he is a cat. Last but not least I have a Mexican Black Kingsnake named Lucifer (coworker named him and the name stuck) he is about a year and a half old at the moment.
My birthday is today and this weekend I will be adding a Betta fish to the mix. I have been researching them and stalking this forum for awhile, my original plan was to get one when I moved in two months but I thought that it wouldn't make much difference getting him before hand. The place I am moving is still in the city and his tank wont be that large.
I have planned to put him in a 5.5 Gallon, heated and filtered tank. Since nowhere in my city has Halfmoons, he is most likley going to be a Crowntail. I will be picking him out this weekend and he should be settled and in his new home Saturday night.
I enjoy reading all the information here and excited for more advice and to show off my Betta when I get him!
