Do I get him???

I (made the mistake) of stopping in Petco while I was out today and the minute I walked in the door I saw this boy across the room.

My 5 gallon is not yet done cycling, so the pet carrier I'm using for my current boy is occupied for possibly another week or more?

I am SOOOOOO tempted to go back and get this guy, but I don't want to buy *another* carrier & heater (or even just a heater to put in a gallon sized plastic tote I have at home).

He was listed as a Half Moon, Double Tail, Plakat, which is the most expensive betta type they had, so I'm hoping he won't get sold immediately.

These pictures don't do him justice, his tail is very creamy-white, and he's actually a pale, pastel blue-green, and he's covered in an iridescent sheen.

Oh, and he looks very healthy and active, and he's got *attitude* to spare! He watched/followed me, making eye contact, the entire time I was looking at him.

What to do, what to do...

Well, so, I've already been thinking of names, maybe Aithusa or Albion, since my other betta is named Arthur, after King Arthur. And... I've been looking at craig's list and eBay for a small tank w/heater. Eeek!

Just gotta figure out what to do with him until I can find him a proper home. Oh, and hope he's still there the next time I can get to the store.

He looks like a very special boy! Good luck! Perhaps something with the ocean or marine in it, because if you look closely at his fins, they are yellow/tan with blue edges, like the sand and the water... just an idea!
