Whit Opaque HMPK pair.

My last HM pair of opaques never spawned for me :/ Just ordered these guys.

They'll be waiting to spawn till late May (trip out of state... although my neighbor has worked with 2-3 week old fry before...). They're from Chaba, my favorite Thai seller. Highly recommend him. This is my 4th pair I've gotten from him.

I want to introduce HM lines into crowntail marbles with my two girls to get crowns with halfmoon spread. It means working several generations down and line breeding, but I'm looking forward to the challenge. I have trouble finding crowns in a condition that I like, so I'd like to try my hand at producing them myself.

That was sort of an awkward way of saying that's the kind of HM blood that I think would help my goal, lol. I forgot to add that.

I can't keep CTs because of my water. Good luck! That sounds really interesting!

I have three crowntail girls, the two marbles and another more traditional colored girl who's quite slow to grow, and I haven't noticed any difficulty with their rays folding. My little crowntail boy is holding his rays straight, but he's still rather young, I think. Not breeding material tho, a few of his rays are missing the double points that appear on the rest, though once he grows more and recovers from the petstore conditions, he might look better.

I had read somewhere that some good crowns trace back to halfmoon lines. I think it would be a fun experience, both simply for experience and for working to make a better line of CTs.

Maybe at some point if you've got halfmoons available, I can see if they'd suit my goals :D

Gorgeous pair - very wide webbing on male. Cross DT along the line to add ray branching and they'll be perfect.
