Swiming levels

My tank has 1 betta, 3 white clouds and 2 panda cory. When the tank is dark, the betta stays near the bottom and the white clouds stay near the surface. Once the lights are on, the white clouds stay towards the lower part of the tank and the betta mainly stays near the upper levels. Is this normal or a sign of incompatible fish?

While I can't say specifically for the white clouds, often times fish will be located in different parts of the tank when the lights go out compared to during the day.

My neons spend a majority of their time in the middle during the day but stay on the bottom at night.
