I bought him as a gift to myself for my birthday. Hes adorable and at first I thought he was a dull brown color but now his color is really perking up! And I mean really! You can see how bright he's gotten from the third picture of when I first brought him home. Sooo nifty!
His first bubble nest today after only 3 days. I was so proud of my little boy ^-^.Its huge and he diligently tended it for hours while I did my homework.
Now he was labeled as a double tail halfmoon plakat. But what would his coloring be considered? I was thinking about a chocolate and blue but Im not sure since Im colorblind to blue and cooler tones. He also is starting to show a secondary ring of coloring on his tail. Ill try and get a picture but hes skittish. Does this make him some sort of butterfly mix??
Oh right and his name is Nero Senri. Nero won the name vote I held but I added Senri because it can be written as 1,000 ri, and a ri is a nautical mile of 2.4. And I want Nero to swim that many and more ^^. His older brother fish is jealous of his bubble nests
