I've got a female betta in my community tank and she often swims in between the side of the tank and the thermometer that hangs down over the side of the tank. Sometimes she stays there for a long time and then other times it's like she's just swimming through for fun. Does anyone else have a betta that does this? Is it something I should be concerned about?
I have 6 female bettas in a 10g, and they are perpetually doing silly, random things. I wouldnt worry about it unless it looks like she is trying to scrape or rub her self against things (like trying to scratch an itch). bettas are just playful, as a rule. enjoy it
when she hangs out there for a while it might just be a place where she feels safe, kinda like a cave for cichlids or what not.
