Dangerous Goldfish?

I'm ready to"seed" a twenty gallon tank for "fishless cycle".. I have a39 gallon tank that's been housing two smallish(three inch) goldfish for about four months. I read a couple of places this water is too dangerous to seed another aquarium that I intend to put Kribensis in. If so I can rob a ten gallon I have but I'm not sure it's cycled properly. Any suggestions/ opinions?... Thank you... CJD

The water will only have a negative effect if something is wrong with the content, ideally if your goldfish are happy and healthy then the ammonia and nitrites are most likely 0 where as nitrates are 5 - 10 ppm

Thank you Mo... That's what I needed to hear! I'm going to look at those numbers right now and likely begin. Thanks again... CJD
