Blue Marble HMxHMPK sibling pair

So I have decided to set up a second breeding tank here.
So I am using a second 20 gallon tank. This tank was made back in the 60s actually, so the sealant was starting to go. So yesterday I stripped out all the old sealant and re-applied it with some aquarium sealant. It has been drying and curing. Obviously I will be letting it sit another good 24+hours to finish curing.

After which like my HMPK spawn I will be stocking the tank with almuminum plant, a sword plant, water wisteria, Xmas moss, and a moss ball. As well as two mystery snails.

I will have a heater and a sponge filter of course. I will be starting the sponge filter in my minnow and single goldfish tank.

So now the pair

The Female

The male

Thanks OFL - this is a different pair, the sick male is my HMPK dragon male.

I haven't spawns this pair yet, I have been rearranging my room to make better use of the space. I plan on starting this pair on saturday if all goes well.

Thanks everyone, hopefully the spawn will happen this weekend, so fingers crossed.
Before anyone says anything or notices, yes the males tank is green. I have been fighting an algae problem in some of my tanks. As soon as I am done cleaning the last one the first one is covered in it again... I have just been replacing all my fake plants with real ones (as is better anyway) and that seems to be helping. I just can't get it to go away fully yet -__-

Only indirect sunlight for the most part. I am thinking it is the space heater I use to keep the tanks warm (yes it keeps them about 80 and works really well.) So i will have to deal with it for a few more months at most then it is spring and summer and I will be trying to keep the room cool haha.

Hm have you tested the nitrate level? Lower nitrates would prevent them green algae. Organic waste in the fish tank results in rising nitrates also. Even having ghost shrimps, mystery snails, or live plants would help. If not you can get a UV sterilizer, if you got extra cash.
