betta fish and camera flash

i guess this really isnt restricted to betta fish but my boyfriend pointed it out to me the other day... does the flash on cameras hurt a betta's eyes? or fish's eyes in general? ive been told theyre sensitive to their tank lights sometimes... so what about flash?

I don't think it hurts their eyes. Some may be skiddish with the flash though until they get used to it. My fish are hams with the camera. Especially my paradise fish. She's a total model.
