Ugh I really need help, not sure if he's going to get better

Jalen has had SBD for a few weeks now. I tried fasting him and putting him in epsom salt (up to the maximum dose, 10 days), and while he did end up pooing, his SBD remained. His tail is torn from swimming to the surface and I think he's biting it now. He's tired and listless and will literally lay on his side on the floor of his tank. I constantly walk over thinking he's dead.

He got SBD while I was out of town. It was my brother's fault for feeding him waaay to much freeze-dried bloodworms, but he didn't mean to. However, constipation doesn't seem to be the cause.

Apart from a lack of energy, SBD, and what I swear looks like depression (is that possible?) Jalen seems fine. He will eat if I sink the pellet close to his face. But I'm wondering now if he'll ever get better. And if not... well, I've heard that fish with SBD can live happy lives, but he is definitely not happy.

I have his water level lowered and I have arranged his decor so that he can lay close to the surface. That's all I can think to do.

Is his stomach expanded any? Or does it look normal?
