I'm cycling my 5-gallon (fishless, ammonia method) and a few days ago, I noticed these tiny, thin, worm-like things sort of settled along the bottom of my tank. They don't seem to be moving around, they're not multiplying (as far as I can tell), and they're not sticking to the glass or anything else. I did notice several kind of sitting on my moss ball (which, on a side note, wasn't looking so hot, so I tossed it into the yard this morning. peace be with you, moss ball - also it smelled bad. Yuck). But again, they're not moving, and they don't seem to be multiplying.
Is this planaria? Can I just gravel vacuum and siphon them out? Pesky little things.
