Reducing filter flow

I have the fluval 3 plus filter in my 15gal tank but the flow is a little quick. I can turn it down which I have but it's still a bit fast for my liking. Is there any way I can reduce the flow or distribute it to it slows it a bit I don't have my betta yet but it does sometimes push the tetras about sometimes.

There's a sticky at the top of the page about creating a baffle for your filter. This may be of help to you, I know it was for me.
