Bloated Betta Stopped Eating

I'm sure most of you have read by now about my betta who has been bloated for a few months. I haven't treated with meds since the beginning of this month, it was a 2nd dose of Maracyn Plus. I change the water in his 1 gallon tank every other day, and he's been eating 2 pellets twice a day. Well he hasn't gotten any worse bloat wise but he's gotten more lethargic. He'll get to the top of the water if he has to breathe and just float back down. But now he won't eat. Even if I nudge him with his plant which startles him and makes him come to the surface where I put the food he won't eat it. He hasn't eaten in 3 or 4 days. What can I do?

I heard if your betta isn't eating, to try to soak the pellets in garlic juice. I never tried it myself, but I hear bettas find garlic appetizing. I hope he gets well soon
