Wow he's gorgeous :) Seeing these before and after pictures/videos makes me want to rescue a seemingly-ugly betta next time I go to Petco. I guess seeing how bright and happy they are afterwards will be extremely rewarding :)

I just bought an "ugly" betta, although I think he's pretty as is. Almost completely colorless (white and grey) aside from some black marble/grizzle on his sides. I'm hoping he'll do the same thing (same colors would be awesome!)

Ugly in quotes is a better way to describe them I guess, since I think each fish has its own charm. That's why I love them so much haha
