Basically they are play fighting. Unless it's really bad they don't need to be seperated.

Though you should look out for the really aggressive ones that are constantly picking on the others and REALLY doing damage. Otherwise its perfectly normal.

Thanks. The bloodworms I feed are alive so they wriggle and give the fry a challenge. I watch them learn to pick them up from one of the ends instead of the middle haha.

I've taken the advice of putting floating plants in the breeding tank for the fry to hide in. I've got 6 fry in there but I cant see any of them anymore! Lol they love it to say the least. Thanks!

Fry like to hide and feel secure (safe) and live bunch plants are as close as possible to their natural environment. If they were to be in the wild, they would never come out of the plants because it's part of their survival instincts. This is why I use water sprice.

I think water wisteria works in the same way.

Glad to hear they like it. When you get a chance I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd like to see them in some nice pictures
