I need help... and suggestions for this.

I have had my tank cycle for 3 weeks now. About. I tested the water and everything is reading ok "safe" except for the ph level. the ph level is severly low around 5.5. i tested the water within the 2nd week of cycling and it was at the same number. So i waited another week to see if any change and nothing...

Why is the Ph so low and not rising?

Also, about 10% of the water in my tank has evaporated. Should I add more water to the tank to fill it up? Would filling it up with more water ruin the cycle?

omg, lol. are you sure its not your testing kit?

It's probably your tap water. Test your tap water, and see if it's the same pH as the tank water.

And yes adding water won't hurt you're already cycled, just keep feeding the bacteria, since you're doing a fish-less cycle right?
