New Betta, Questions

Oh what a relief This site is worth it's weight in gold (does the internet weight anything though? lol).

Good news is my heater is turning off! It's staying around 76F So I'll be putting it in the tank tonight...after I get done drooling over all these beautiful fish everyones posting!

My Betta (need a name, it will come though) is a halfmoon. And he is a lovely, what I want to call, a dark powder blue with a black (or at least darker) head, along with a little bit of a darker streak down his sides. I tried to get a picture with my sisters SLR, but it would have nothing to do with taking pictures of my fish! Wouldn't even try

He sounds gorgeous! My new tank that was an emergency new home for my little guy has no light installed at all so I'm temporarily using a table lamp until I can get a light fitting for it so any light would be ok for now :)
