I figured since I already posted three threads with questions, I should finally introduce myself. My name is Cristina, and I'm from Washington, where I have lived all my life. I currently own a dog (pug/chihuahua mix we think) named V, a betta named Link (in my avatar picture), and three mystery snails named Rupert, Monty, and Gary. This is the first time I have ever had my own fish. I have named fishes in my parents tanks, but never really HAD my own. I usually have furry animals, particularly rodents. I had a rat, named Angel, and he was my best friend in the whole world. But two years ago he got sick, and passed away. :( As it says in my signature, I'm vegan! I have been vegan for over a year now and I'm loving every minute of it. Obviously I'm a huge supporter of animal rights, and believe that we have no right to treat them the way they are treated, especially on factory farms. Other than animals, my only other interest is The Legend of Zelda series. I have been playing the games for years, but am not any good at them! I am a stay at home pet mommy, and hope to keep it that way. I live with my wonderful boyfriend, and we have a very happy family. :) Thank you all for the great information and the help, this is my new favorite website!
