It will greatly Benifit from additives such as zucchini, cucumber, and algae wafers as they provide optimal nutrition, and on second though could it be a ancistrus dolichopterus albino. As these stay relatively small around 3.5 inches

I'll try to get a pic. Month today I noticed a lot of small bubbles at the top of my tank and I don't think I seen this before. I did a part water change this morning. Not sure. I have to do a cleaning like I mentioned though tomorrow

Maybe your Betta has built a bubble nest. These are greatly common with bettas when there is some type of physical, or visual contact with any other type of threatening fish. Or when the barometric Changes.

He looks fine, just a little bit overfeed; i feed mine every other day and i feed him different types of food, like pellets, flakes, dried bloodworms.

It is probably a bubble nest, some bettas are just obcessed with building them for no apparent reasons at all too.

I suggest you buy a good liquid test kit and test ammonia levels in your tank.

Ok guys.I done a 100% water change, gravel and ornament scolding with the filter as well. I cleaned the tank . I refilled and replaced everthing and added cycle,Nutrafin Betta plus tap water conditioner (50 ml because it says 5ml treats 0.5 US galons and its a 5 gallon tank) Also i replace the slim filter cartridge with 2 new bio carb-best for tropical fish one. I let it cycle from lunch time to about 7 and put him back in. He is swimming around fine but just wont eat,he spits it out. the water was as clear as it could be but a bit cloudy today but he is fine just maybe a little to himself compared to at first but most important the bloating has pretty much went to less than half of what it as. Why wont he eat? my ther 2 were pigs
