At average how many of the frys survive? assuming that it's your first time breeding?

My first spawn, I only had 15 hatch, 2 survived but I culled one because he was kinda deformed. I gotta admit, I was unprepared for that one and didnt do a lot of the water changes I should have, etc..
Second spawn, 218 hatched, and I have approx. 160 3-month olds lol. This time I was prepared long in advance and do all necessary water changes and way more food variety. Huge difference!

hard to say, what i was told was about 40% survive. My spawn i have yet to lose one since they were too small for me to notice if i had lost one.
