I have been keeping betta fish for six years,
though it hardly makes me an expert; those
little finned fellow are so mysterious!

Also hailing from the US of A. :) I just joined the forum, but I have been a hobbyist since I was a little girl. My parents were obcessive with their fish (we had our entire basement covered in tanks, as well as at least one tank in every other room in the house) we bred for a lfs. My personal tanks have been wide ranging, I have kept everything from goldfish, guppies and bettas, to tetras and cichlids. (But not all together, LOL)
All of my personal tanks have been freshwater. I like saltwater tanks just fine, but my interests are more freshwater.
