This is my second walmart betta. lol The bettas at my walmart were so sad. The water in their cups was only about an inch deep so most of them had their fins sticking out of the water. 2 of them were dead in their cups. Many were in nasty water. Only a few had the normal blue betta water. I was really angry by the conditions they were kept in. And don't even get me started on their tropical fish.

Agreed, Lindsey! Once I found a betta IN THE TANK with other fish! The next time we went to the store, not long afterwards, many of the fish in the tank were dead. HELLOOO! Bettas aren't meant to be just stuck where they don't belong! Especially if it's going to kill the fish! :tries to cool down:

Anyways, pretty betta! :D

when u buy a betta from a cup, you are not rescuing it,your supporting the idea of selling bettas in cups, and the idea you can keep them in small tanks.

another reason i dont like bettas, but i bought mine when she was in a tank.

nice betta though, u saved one out of the millions of others that will suffer.
