Random Thai Fish Question

Okay, so I was wondering. A lot of betta bred and posted here still look pretty young even at 3-4 months, and all the ones on aquabid are full finned and they say they're only 3.5 months old usually...
So are Thai breeders lying or is there a reason theirs grow faster?

not all, it just depends on the way you care for the betta, or it is just the betta itself. and thai breeders have quality betta's constantly bred, unlike here lot's of us breed petstore betta's, not all

Not to mention that they have perfect conditions for their bettas to grow in.

True, I also heard that jarring earlier promotes fin growth, so they probably get jarred early?

It depends. I can have full grown fish in 14 weeks. It's all in water quality, food, and space.

I think since Thailand (correct me if I am wrong) is the birthplace of betta fish (or as far as us humans know) the Thai breeders know all the tricks of the trade better than any person in any other country!

I believe that Indian Almod Tress do grown in thailand. as they are known to fall in the natural water territories of bettas in the wild. So when considering that Betta Splendens originate from Thailand. The trees that supply Indian Almond leaves are most likely also originating and are naturalized in the areas that Betta Splendens occur in the wild (Thailand). Just a thought. I honestly Have no confirmation on were Indian Almond Trees originate from and where the are naturalized in

"The tree has been spread widely by humans and the native range is uncertain. It has long been naturalised in a broad belt extending from Africa to Northern Australia and New Guinea through Southeast Asia and Micronesia into the Indian Subcontinent. More recently the plant has been introduced to parts of the Americas."
Tada.
