So I started a fish blog

After a bit of pondering I decided to start my own fish blog. I don't really expect it to be big, but I figured it is more good information to combat all the bad info out there. My next two planned entries will detail proper care for goldfish and bettas. I might come asking the forum for some pictures because as I was looking at my draft for my next entry... it's a wall of text T.T I figured it would be good to break it up with pictures of how betta are supposed to look and act!!!

So, how does it look? Any thoughts or suggestions? I'm not really going for anything fancy.

I agree with you, a pit more pictures of good homes and stuff like that... or just pictures of healthy fish.

Thanks for the encouragement guys! I thought about sticking some pictures of sick fish in store cups in the last entry, but my boyfriend said it was sad enough. I think I'll stick to pictures of healthy fish in proper homes. I want to have at least one per entry, but I'm kinda limited to stuff that is public domain, mine, or that what I get permission to use. I wouldn't want some else ripping off my photos and words, claiming they own it, so I won't do it to someone else. I'm going to be starting a thread in the photography section soon asking for photos and permissions!

Just saying you have permission to use ANY of my photos, if it helps save even one fish I am dine with it. If not maybe someone may think about their fish's tank.

:o !! You have great pictures of a sorority! I will certainly be using those to try to squash the myth that betta can't live with other betta.

Has anyone noticed that Bettysplendens is down? Anyone heard anything about this? That site has some great info and I would love to link it.

Awesome! I just started a fish blog myself about 2 weeks ago, but it's not ready yet so I haven't "released it." I love yours!

You can totally use pictures I take. I have a nice one of Paarthurnax and now that little Ro is coming out of her shell, I might be able to get a better one of her. And now I just got a new betta (>_>) that I'mm be photographing tomorrow. Feel free to contact me if you want any pictures :D

Haha! I just met another girl today with a blog and passion for goldfish and bettas! We should form a club or something.

On another note I will certainly be contacting you about photos of Ro. It's soo hard to get a good picture of a single-tail goldfish. They're all either in bowls or severely stunted.
