Okay. Male number one would part up nicely with her and he has great finnagge, along with body shape. The only flaw would be his dorsal fin. But that it slight and will easily be diminished with proper breeding

Your welcome. I am fairly new to breeding bettas myself and I am conditioning my new pair right now, I currently am learning the IBC standards and what a proper VT, DT, DBT, HM, CT, PK, etc. should look like and what bettas should be bred into the line to further improve it

Sounds interesting. Once I'm solid with spawning and rearing fry, I for sure want to try and produce some IBC show quality fish.

It is somewhat challenging unless you are very aware of what you are doing and the bloodlines behind the bettas. At the moment I am raising baby brine shrimp to fool proof my method of breeding and rearing fry.
