Having trouble identifying Romeo's tail

I am having trouble identifying his tail. Is he a plakat betta or a very young Delta tail?

He looks like a delta to me too, Petsmart is famous for most of their HM's being deltas. Still a awesome fish though, and not over priced :)

He is in a 2.5 gallon and when my 29 gallon gets all situated after changing from gravel to sand, I am putting him in there...With the filter covered with pantyhose of course

As said on the other forum under the name of fishy friend2. Im assuming that he is indeed a young delta male and not a plakat. Most likely an opaque, delta male
